Resources

I love making stuff, so I'm contributing to TES again. This is where teachers can share resources; some of which are free and some you have to pay for. My resources have been downloaded over 9,000 times! You can check them out here.

Videos

I had to be away from my YouTube channel for a while because I've been so busy with tutoring, making resources, and getting married . . . but I'll soon be back. We've started filming and have some fantastic ideas. For more details visit my YouTube channel and subscribe!

These are the physics experiments videos I made for the distance learning college, Wolsey Hall Oxford:

My students appear to find my safety video amusing, at least.

Twitter

To keep up to date on events, the cosmos, and all things nerdy I'm regularly on Twitter. I also use it to share with like-minded people and other teachers — it's a great way to distribute information. Below you can see the kind of things I've been tweeting but for the full experience follow me. Go on, give it a try! ;-)

Wolsey Hall Oxford

In addition to my private tuition at ClareTurnerTutoring I tutor maths and physics with Wolsey Hall Oxford. Here's a little interview from the last time I was in Oxford: Meet the Tutors .

I'm also the developer for the IGCSE and A-level physics courses. My colleagues were kind enough to say these words about my work:

Clare has written several Physics courses for us and is now venturing into Further Maths. She is a diligent and organised worker who provides very high quality material on time and to an excellent standard.

N. Richman, Doctoral Candidate and Supervisor of Courses at Wolsey Hall Oxford

Clare has done terrific work over the past year in developing new Physics courses for IGCSE and A level for Wolsey Hall Oxford, the home study college. She has high standards, is meticulous, and has been a pleasure to work with. We are looking forward now to her adapting the Physics courses for students in China, working with her on Maths and otherwise continuing our association.

P. Newell, Director of Wolsey Hall Oxford

I'm currently developing a new A-level physics course with Wolsey Hall Oxford for the Guanghua Education Group in Shanghai, which might even include a trip to china. Exciting stuff!

Cosmology

It may have become obvious that I love astronomy and cosmology. I decided to practice what I preach and took an online course. Here's my certifcate of accomplishment:
